Is it time we stop trying to educate the uneducated and say enough is enough?!
Why should we slit our own throats with those unwilling to throw us a line when we have the tech to save their sorry arses. Yes its proven. Proven enough to throw some serious dollars at it anyway. Just like a cancer patient would throw at an experimental drug that might just save their lives.
It just pisses me off, because I watched a Foreign correspondent recording on the ABC tonight that i had neglected from the 5 Aug 2024. It was about solar panels, EV cars and and an impending trade war with China. Very interesting seeing some predictions come to fruition. I really beggars believe that we are in a situation where;
* you can lead a horse to water but can't make them drink
* you can't help a person that doesn't want to help themselves
* you can't put brains into statues
..and yet with European manufacturers, we bow and curtsy and still beg their indulgence, whilst all the while we are swallowing water struggling to stay afloat!
Sign a deal MB you MF's or we go BYD and CATYL. We are not a charity or a dam political party!
Leverage that same attitude with the Aust Gov't and EU to get some attention rather then meekly wave a hand out beyond the breakers in the hope that someone onshore notices before we go under for the last time and end up a news story of what might have been if those responsible weren't asleep at the wheel. This is bigger then free market normal competition
