    A smart trader would lock in losses now offset against other gains in this financial year, buy back the stock at current prices, maybe in an alternate entity to avoid ATO asset wash sales tax avoidance, and if the unmentionable does happen you don't have to wait around for years in a 'suspended' being unable to claim the loss, especially if you have gains to offset against.

    The upside is if it is a multibagger, you win anyway as those losses carry into the future as well if not already offset, a real win win situation? Now who wouldn't want to trade under that scenario?
