It must be 3-4 years ago now that I contacted Anteo. I was concerned even back then at the lack of recognition/interest/uptake by industry.
I posed a question: “If, as Anteo asserts, its anode is so superior to everything else on the market, why not make complete batteries and set up a demonstration. Run Anteo batteries in one machine (could be anything…even a pink rabbit playing drums) and off-the-shelf batteries in another. Call in the media to film the demonstration.” If Anteo’s batteries blow away the opposition then red faces all round. If not; use it to gain media exposure. I’m the first to admit it was a simplistic idea.

At first I got silence. When I persisted, a recently-departed employee practically snorted down the phone with derision. They condescendingly explained that Anteo’s batteries would be “so superior” that any test would be meaningless (!) They even suggested it would be like testing a “Holden against a Lamborghini” (their exact words). I thought that was the whole point…

After that response, I gave up. I’m only staying in it for the Life Sciences side of things.
