In one fell (foul too) swoop they have devalued everyone's holding by 39%; and you ask: 'why the negative posts?'
How can the BoD, in all seriousness, then say: 'Have we got the deal for you! You can have 2 new shares for every 5 that you own and the price is an absolute bargain, only 2.5c., Yesterday it was 4c, but we have smashed the price to just 2.5c because we like you so much.'
No matter which way this is looked at, it's a loss with more pain to come situation for shareholders. Not only have their holdings been unillaterally smashed in value (loss) but they are also expected by the culprits to experience (more) pain by finding more money from somewhere to feed the culprits' money-munching machine.
I think that it's an appalling situation, and yet you have the hide to ask: why so glum and unhappy?
