All sorts of reasons to maintain secrecy prior to a formalised deal. Competitive advantage, negotiation leverage, etc. In short, yeah, they care or they wouldn't make it a stipulation of working with us (allegedly). Sentiment seems pretty indifferent. Not sure an almighty deal would be necessary, but a real ink to paper deal with a reputable business, yes.
