I did think of that, but what I'm seeing is the full post by ContraryJ and others, NOT just a quote in a reply.
This is in Opera running on Mac OS Ventura, latest beta (v13.4).
Of note is that there are some weird odd things happening on other forums too, including two that use XenForo software for the forum - the weird thing with that one is that I don't see a double-f. Everywhere that has double-f just shows a blank. Nothing else. Everything else is normal. Just can't write words like "effect" that show up as "e ect".
So it may just be something in the way the forum software interacts with the OS.....
