Nothing far fetched about the Baby Boomer generation starting to retire AS OF 1st Jan 2011.

There is a demographic time bomb looming as waves of people retire and downsize.

Selling big expensive homes into a depressed market.

This, and a few more interest rate rises, will spell the end of the 30yr property boom in Australia.

It will all play out in 2012 imho.

Make what you can in 2011, and then hunker down for the onslaught that is coming.
