The amount of heavy traffic carrying equipment from the mine is extraordinary.
Haul trucks, loaders, other equipment all being transported out.
Never see BP fuel trucks on the road anymore.
Never see QBE haul trucks heading to port anymore either.
Unless you live around here and/or know ex-employees, you will never get a true sense of how bad the situation really is.
The local crew camp at Darwin River Tavern is empty. DRT is not in a healthy position. I know staff there too.
Anyhow it’s great locals get what’s left of our road back.
But undoubtedly CXO is doomed from an outsiders view. I have always stated on these pages that it was doomed for many years now.

Never lose sight of the simple fact that lithium is the 15th most abundant element on earth.
I might get the drone out… maybe you all need more local intel.
