Strange Lynas went down with a fantastic Q report.
Today MP announced ground breaking on their new Metals and Magnet plant in Texas. Just 5 months after signing GM deal on DEC 9 2021 VS Lynas which still has not started after the announcement on 19 May 2019. I hold many Puts in MP, this scared me. What does MP stock do? Down USD 2.58 or 5.7%. 12:05 PM US EDT.
A year ago both stocks would have shot up like a rocket. The whole Green market especially the high multiple stocks are no longer being rewarded for great news. Any comments why?
Here is a chart to think about. I find it interesting that both MP and LYC reached their one year high 18 days ago and both have fallen since then. I have always said MP would Fall more than Lynas because of its much higher multiples and that is happening. Any one that thinks that Lynas SP is based on Lynas performance needs to take a closer look. My guess only 30%. A year ago the Q3 report would have moved Lynas up at least AUD 5.00 maybe 10.00
