What I am concerned about with HZR are:

    1. As I understand it synthetic graphite lacks the grain structure of flake or vein natural graphite. This means that the conductivity of the anode material synthetic graphite is not as good as (near pure) natural graphite from flake/vein sources . This is also useful in expandable graphite for wrapping.
    2. The feedstock for the the HZR process is natural gas - this is expensive. The process is endothermic (i.e requires energy) and breaks into hydrogen and carbon at 800 - 900C and up to 8 times atmospheric pressure. To make the process cost effective there needs to be market for the hydrogen - hydrogen difficult to store and highly explosive. To be effective it should be physically close to a refinery, methanol or fertilizer plant to sell the hydrogen.

I would like to see a financial comparison of the two sources of carbon (graphite) before investing in HZR
