Sounds you are another who gets their current affairs from Mike Munro. Maybe you are right, perhaps if we sent 60 minutes to the Congo then the truth be revealed, give us a break
The ABC made no allegation of Anvil, they simply sought facts. Straight questions which were not given straight answers.
And just to straighten you out here:
If Anvil staff offered their assets to the DRC Government, and at the same time those staff had an expectation (or perhaps even a suspicion) that those assets would have been used by the Government in the course of contraventions of human rights law etc, then Anvil could well be complicit. End of story.
My view is they didn't have the expectation (as for the suspicion I don't know), but I wan't there...
