Twenty years ago, most people just drove nose into car parking spots.
(Of course street side parallel parking is a whole different story.)
However, now the trend seems to be to reverse into car parking spots.
I don't quite understand it.
Firstly, if they went nose in, they wouldn't hold up the traffic.
Secondly, if they went nose in, their boot would be facing the road, so they wouldn't have to try and push their trolleys down the small gap between cars, likely damaging another persons car in the process.
Obviously, they are not robbing a bank and need a quick getaway.
My guess is vision problems when trying to back out, but I see small cars doing it too.
Any answers from people that used to nose in, but now reverse in????
