Probably because unlike you, they care for other human beings and don't want see family and friends for Christmas if they are are carrying the disease. Wouldn't feel great would it if you saw your mother and ending up being the cause of her death. But some people just don't care about that, so long as they don't have to wear one of those stupid masks, people should be free to die so long as it isn't inconveniencing anyone else.
