We are witnessing the metabolic disease (in medical terms) of a western civilisation who refuses to give up chain-smoking, illicit drugs, sedentary behaviour and their high sugar diet despite their diabetes.
Like seriously they're is no prescription for these people/society..literally none. Back in the 1980s with the benefit of hindsight possibly if the moral society continued but it did not as is plainly on display this century.
Those two country's will continue to exist higher and higher functioning decade upon decade as we devolve further into even deeper dystopian belief systems until we become virtually unrecognisable, more like a totalitarian sanitarium in comparison to what existed in the 1st world in the 80s...already we are 1/3rd the way there.
Cannot get better can only get worse..wonder how fast though!
Frontal lobes have not evolved further in thousands of years.
