Ponds are not required for direct extraction, ponds will only required as a buffer until these techniques are proven cost effective.

The ponds are there as a back up and haven’t been lined yet due to indecision over the direction forward.

I’m not saying the ponds won’t be lined, but the small amount of them would only elude to. 2000kt extraction.

It appears to me that GXY is hedging it’s bets, they are still looking at direct extraction solutions that may work well with a few ponds.

Time will tell, Sjlasx seems to have an opinion on these extraction methods and like him I’m still dubious over costing.

Any fresh info there Sjlasx?
