Why Are Taxpayers Now Forced to Subsidise Ch 10?

Yesterday it was announced the Albanese government would help the far left woke mouthpieces survive in regional WA with over 30 million in funding.
Channel 10 is owned by the mega Paramount conglomerate based in the USA so why are Australian taxpayers propping them up for the next 7 years?
They should fail as any private business would be aloud to if it was not meeting its obligations.
