This is proof that the Dept of Education are absolute fools. They really are utterly useless and clueless.
They have made it twice as difficult for experience people to make a career change, but instead fill the positions with young graduates who are absolutely hopeless (some not all) many of who pass their prac despite a clear unsuitability for the role, no work effort and mental fragility that sees them quit or descend quickly into teaching mediocrity.
What I’d really like to see is the number of non productive teachers in each school, as the sheer quantity of roles that require either no teaching at all, or give the teacher 3 classes instead of 5, is mind boggling.
Don’t get me started on woke either. What a disservice to the next generation.
