If i was a major CE player i would not just want to use this technology if it proves up but i would want to control it..
My opinion only there is no need for fluff as one of the big boys will bite, its a a question of desire/fit and price.
My thinking is an Apple or Samsung buys out AKP they add some $5 speakers to a 2k phone and BOOM.
I equate this tech if it proves up to being the first CE company with flat pannel TV - with no competition on the horizon.
My gut is a CE company will monetise this product as the add value factor when installed in a finished product is the woth 100x to them.
Guess the question is how much would you pay to stitch a competitor and lead a new market segment.
If i was a major CE player i would not just want to use this...
