It’s probably worth noting in the context of your excellent summary, that the pejorative term the zealots use “Climate Change Deniers”, applies not only to the handful (if any actually exist) of those that actually deny that climate changes but actually to ANYONE positing ANY reason or COMBINATION of reasons (from the MYRIAD of reasons available), that preclude the zealots making a mountain of ‘middleman’ money for eternity, from a Carbon Trading Scheme or some such variant.
So not necessarily idiots themselves but they do have reliance on convincing the abundant idiots in general population that probably can’t remember what they had for dinner last night.
