Listening to all this talk of war against Saddam, and peace protests against displacing Saddam, one thing bothers me. Why are the peace protesters such racists?
Do they think that freedom of speech, freedom of religion, basic human rights are the sole domain of Australia, the US, Britain and Europe?
Are people in the Middle East – Israel aside – not fit to be granted these boons? Obviously the mantra of the Left is – freedom and equality for everyone – except someone with the misfortune to live in an Arab dictatorship.
Go on, prove me wrong.
Protest outside the Iraqi embassy or the Syrian embassy.
