why are things getting so bad? Its all comes back to neoliberalism 40 years ago where you take out the idea government had a responsibility to provide services for the people, that government had a legitimate role. People have to understand the philosophy underneath neoliberalism, which is to reduce people from being citizens to being customers and removing the idea of a Public Service which serves the people but rather where the agents of government become servants towards corporate power, whether its banks or private corporations.
