I've just had a play and when I invite a Twitter follower to a Thred they get an Automatic Invite via Direct Message on Twitter which we can both see. They receive an automated message from me and a link to join Thred. Currently it's code restricted to join although guess who has the code?
I love my $6m+ appand it's free!
