Any smarties will forecast a lower expectation going forward in US. It is much easier to explain a better than expected results than a worst one.
I have worked on the basis that the US is recession and is constantly amused by the daily doses of are we in recession or are we not? It is better to face the reality than be in constant denial.
AUS is still too closely linked to the US. It needs to break this mindset.
