Some stocks I own are for dividend and growth, some growth only,
Comparing growth only stocks to property only proves how stupid and out of balance property investment has become.
And before you and your mates start with your silly rants about the property you bought 15 years ago or property over a long period of time
THIS IS NOT WHAT I AM REFERRING TO
I am referring to an asset, property, that has historically over time returned a reasonable yeild and resonable capital growth that when put together made it a worthwhile investment
What has gone wrong with this investment over the last 5-10 years is the historical investment fundamentals of the investment have been thrown out the window.
The yeild on the investment has reached the point of in many cases being absolutely pathetic yet people were still prepared to pay high prices for the asset in the hope there was a bigger idiot out there prepared to pay even more.
bit like buying a spec mining stock or some new beaut tech stock in during the tech boom.
