why are we in a recession, page-51

Wow all, I find it amazing how people have changed facts and opinions for personal attacks.

All markets have sub markets and lucrative investments. Don't ever expect property to follow a mean to be accurate.

I myself have invested in a property in the last 9 months (as some have said, I would have to be stupid to have purchased it as I would be in negative equity, huge debt, over payed and have an extremely bad yield). However my property has improved in value, is in extreme under supply in the sub market, has increased in value without touching it by 50K, i have also added an extra 50k in value via renovation, has a huge under supply of rental properties in the area, less than 0.05%, and to top it off i have a yield of 9.5% at the moment)...hmm I must be extremely naive and should expect to be stuck in debt for life!

Any one else in a similar predicament where they have actually made money against all the doom and gloom?

    Cheers,
    Miike
