    another idea for the budding investor....we talk about buying cheaper houses with lower interest rates....a terrrific double whammy affect for you...

    but if you cannot find another cheap house...think about renovating one that you have...make that cheap money work for you...
    say spend 60,000 at 5% costs 3000 interest...and locked in at fixed low rates....you should recover the extra cost in higher rents, and better mv for the prop...
    but instead of buying another prop for 300.000 you add value for under 100,000

    the other borrower who is locked in at the fixed rate....I thought if you convert to a variable with the same lender they only charge the 300 fee...
    its only if you move the loan to another lender, or pay it out..same thing ..that they hit you with the break fee ?
