Yes dev sites at present can be a little tricky to get the funding to complete.

Use it to your advantage.

Find a site that you think ticks all the boxes, put an option on it to buy in say 12 months time.

If its not selling then the agent would be happy for you to put down a small depsot with an option.....as it may sit there for anotehr 12 months in any event.


Perhaps seek out a larger building group with the capable funding to JV the project with you once u have the option to buy it so they cant backdoor you.

Even say 10% of the project returns is better than 0%.

If its unsellable due to noone getting the finance then its probably overvalued or there is something amiss with the site.
