anferni, yes that was how i took it but found it very odd you were responding to my post in that manner. If you cared to go back and read a bit i was sharing my grand fathers experience in the war and that he, as a person with first hand experience, was very staunch on the argument that war was never the answer to resolving conflict. So why the belittling comment? If having a cheap shot at a past digger or my agreement that we should learn from past mistakes, then i find that rather disturbing and distasteful.
