The West has knowingly and willingly outsourced productive capacity to China and whilst their populations revelled in cheap goods sourced from China, watched on whilst jobs and industries in their own countries were lost.
Over the past 3 decades globalisation has marched on and there has been profound changes and rebalancing ... a rising China, rising Asia and even a rising of the Indian subcontinent ... an increasingly troubled and floundering West.
The west owns much of the self inflicted wounds created by globalisation and most of the hubris inflicted wounds that early inaction in the face of the CV-19 Pandemic has created.
Lets look to ourselves and our own counties and grim lessons learned for the other side of this pandemic.
