CIY achieved a small increase on last year's half year profit despite hassles with ASIC (which are due to be sorted this week). They expect the full year still to be within guidance of double digit increase.
They hold 55% (12 million shares) of CP1 (CPK) which has risen from $2.65 to $3.50 in the past month.
They are about to exercise CPK options at $1.50 (into shares which are trading at $3.50)
CPK are predicting EPS of $1 and DPS of 55 cents for the full year.
The price of CIY last year on 1 March was $4.89 (down from a high of $5.85). Can anyone tell me why CIY are languishing at this time?
