Because we are stupid enough to allow it happen in the first place! We allow politicians to get away with their silly, inane ideas. If only we had an honest independent and more investigative media to hold our inept governments and politicians to account. Even a decent opposition might help as well!!! Just look at the mess this and other countries are in at the moment and all due to inept politicians. No one else! Other than the fact that many of us are too lazy to do anything about the abhorrent situation we now find ourselves in. So nothing will get better until it gets to the stage where eventually most will have had a gut full and physically turf the government of the day out on their proverbial pink ears! And this is what happens on a regular basis. Thank God for the three year term!!!! But by then they will have done sufficient damage. That's when the other mob get in and it becomes perpetual motion because in this country we probably have the dumbest politicians of any country in the world! They all appear to come out of the same mould, an egocentric one!!! None of this current mob of fraudsters come the end of their political lives should be awarded any superannuation or pension, because none of them have earned one and therefore don't deserved one!!
