In terms of risk ? Well as Tim put it technology is the real risk quotient here .
SLI has moved away from their own experimental technology and is now using KOCHs technology and its still experimental, whereas SUNRESIN is commercialised and there in lies the difference.
Actually its company's like SLI KOCH LILAC LAKE VULCAN that have created the "perceived risk" that the market views today via their poor efforts at marketing .
During this period ASN with the help of SUNRESIN has been running their demo plant and increasing its size as the need arose , which contrary to your statement.
The reasons that SLI has a multiple MC on ASN is as you've stated they have listed on the NASDAQ opening up doors to large institutional wealth in the US coupled with wealthy partners like KOCH although I'm not sure LANXESS have invested anything ?
