In the eyes of religious people God knows everything, be it past, present or future. There is nothing he does not know that has happened, is happening or will happen in the future... nothing.
So my question is that when God created man why did God allow man the ability to perpetrate evil in its various forms?

Bozzle - some very interesting posts on this thread, including yours.

I would like to make a point about a so called all loving and caring god. Why did he or she create a world where to survive many creatures have to eat each other?

This of course applies to carnivorous creatures like humans who are at the top of the food chain. I feel sure that very religious people, even the Pope, like tucking into a meal made from an innocent young lamb.

Fundamentalists will quote biblical texts to explain the their god created animals for human's benefit of course. This will not convince me at all.
