might sound simplistic but banks make their sizeable profits from lending money to businesses that have good cashflow and the abilitiy to service the borrowings.
In an ideal world, banks also require security for their borrowings with a good margin for error.
Centro's gearing is too high but its ability to repay is not in doubt.
