Have you got an authoritative source that shows "the majority of teachers will now be on 6 figures incomes"?
According to QLD government documentation freely available, Experienced Senior Teachers (to differentiate from Head of Programme etc) makes under 6 figures, with a Band 1 teaching earning less than 60,000.
It does amaze me that anyone would want to be a teacher these days, given how poorly they are viewed by some members of society.
