    As far as I can tell, any profit they manage to make is always going to be mostly taken by 'performance' fees. It really is the strangest structure. They should just own an initial stake, and their performance fee is then just the normal situation of getting their own share of earnings based on what they hold, rather than permanently cutting a slice out of the company.
    It was probably just worth trading the general agriculture hype months ago, unfortunately I got on the wrong end of that and lost quite a lot.
    Better off trading or investing in companies who actually make money for their shareholders rather than give away the profits to themselves just for the honour of being on the board.
