Biotechs have definitely taken a hiding lately.

Unfortunately tactics employed by the likes of MBP does not help the sector one bit.

Bet no one was too enamoured with the company's behaviour with that infamous announcement made last December. Share price was 2.00+ as the company insisted they had done no wrong. Even when pressed by journalists MBP was insistent the investment community was misled and confused. The savage share price slide from 2.00 to 1.20 was inexplicable, says the company, when it was becoming painfully obvious that their trial results were a dud.

It's amazing no heads have rolled at MBP as a result of that fiasco. The honest biotechs out there have suffered for MBP's feeble attempts to save its own hide.
