Now come on justis, i know ya not old enough to understand but after the 2nd world war when the majority of Boomers were born there was significant rationing of many commodities, machinery and hardware. Things like nails, nuts and bolts tractors and other essentials were rationed out in very small quantities. It was a real test of resolve to survive. Homes were absolute bare bones and small, without floor coverings and furniture. Many people sat on timber fruit cases because chairs were either unavailable or to expensive to buy. Todays youngsters have access to all these things if they have a bit of get up and go in their systems. The boomers especially the early ones did it real tough but were smart enough, had the energy and will to better themselves and succeed in life without any social security (dole) to back them up. Todays soft cocks grizzle because the social security payments aren't enough. The Baby Boomers weren't only smart but they had the resolve and will to work hard and become self sufficient.
