Maglincer, I'm not advocating or dismissing prayer, but you seem to approach prayer like it's a 20c gum ball machine....when I want a piece of gum, I'll stick my 20c in, twist the handle and my piece of gum pops out the shute at the bottom. No emotion, no commitment; just insert, twist and collect.
Don't think prayer works quite like that....
