Uh oh, when someone starts to cut and paste large slabs of a well known fairy tale into a thread, you know it's just about time to call it a wrap, the thread that is.
Prayer is nothing more than talking to yourself. I contend it achieves nothing but am happy to be proved wrong if anyone can provide evidence, and i don't mean cutting and pasting fairy tales.
If you imagine anyone or any of the hundreds of gods now popular among earth's inhabitants can even hear what you say then i suggest you are suffering a major self delusion.
That said, not everyone who talks to themselves should sign themselves into a clinic except the crackheads and nutjobs.
The rest of the people who talk to themselves probably just need to use their brain and start thinking: the evidence suggests that is what it's there for.
