Listening the the ABC the other day as their car 'expert' said that a fully charged up Model from a Japanese manufacturer had the equivalent energy of a litre and a half of petrol in its batteries. Didn't sound like much of a road trip.
The Lindy Effect is an interesting theory about predicting the life spans of technologies. Some of the governments keen to hasten the move to EV's possibly need to cool their jets a bit.
