Another reason is accumulation via DRP....compounding soon lowers the average price if investing long but I agree with all the above posts regarding solid returns (including franking)....the Wilson suite of LIC's can be polarising at times regarding their trading against NTA ....but from a personal point of view they fit my risk spread profile across a few sectors that I wouldn't individually invest in directly and they do the trick nicely for me ...holding WAM WAX and WLE...but like all my investments I maintain my due diligence in them and naturally keep an eye on what they do and say.
