It is really difficult to get good real-time up to date data. I just wanted to make the point that I see no sense in behaving like Atlantis is sinking.

The death rate is the key in Germany (flu central) and elsewhere, and often the focus is just on how many cases (infected), not the death rate. This is BS. And I call it 'fear porn'.

They don't want nor report the death rate because it is nothing. In Germany, we have 13957 cases and 50 people have died. As callous as it sounds, it is just 0,003582432%

I can't explain Italy but it sounds exceptional. Maybe groping grandma and slipping her a sloppie is not a good idea.

At any rate; I bought WPL without margin.

I have learned a few things over many years.

1. stockmarkets are future indicators - the damage that has been done and that is being done is behind us. Nobody can pick bottom and we can only buy a knife and hold until sanity prevails.
2. stockmarkets like to climb a wall of worry - see point 1 - despite how bad people see it, jobs losses and bankruptcies are events that indicate market clean outs of weak debt and the market only improves from there...(I believe we are very close to a bottom if not already - but wouldn't be surprised if we drop 10-20% more to find it - then I will cimmit my pension funds)
3. Woodside Petroleum should rename itself to Woodside LNG or Gas - the future is gas, not oil, and it represents 75-85% of Woodside's current project expenditure and imminent income.

If you bought way above present levels, just be patient. It will bounce big time soon. Always does and NOBODY knows where bottom is.
