Au76, you have got it completely wrong mate, the banks have already appointed receivers. don't forget the banks have charges over all of afg's assets.

i agree with point 6. looks like clarke and his team are a bunch of gutless wonders. if they had held out for a few more weeks at least, then afgha holders would at least have got the interest payment.

now afgha holders will get nothing. not even the afgha payment. the banks will do a quick fire-sale. westpac announced it will adjust its provisions to allco now. i.e. westpac doesn't think it will get all its money back, in which case there is nothing left for afgha holders.
