Fengshoey that info is staggering. It is nice to have someone with your obvious expertise around. Like I've said before I've never had an issue with the companies claims in regard to the amounts of copper in the ground and even with posters here adding vast amounts on native copper. It is nice to read different takes on it though.
IMHO Oceanwide are very happy to have paid over the mark for shares to get hold of the off take. That's where they'll make their $$$. If they manage to secure the remaining 40% then I'd imagine they might even be willing to pay over $4.00 for more shares in return.I don't have the list in front of me but how many more do they need to get to 19%?
What troubles me about this particular issue is that let's say OW gets the right to purchase 100% of CDU's copper, what discount will they be given? It's been a couple of years since the first 60% was awarded to them and still no word. Call me a sceptic but if there was to be no discount wouldn't that have been on the cover of the annual report based on the history of this companies announcements??
Sure I may not have any shares anymore but why is it not fair to be given information so that if I decide to put the kind of money I once had invested in CDU I can at least be making an INFORMED decision. Is that unreasonable?
