Palestinian terrorists have posed as newsmen in the past, just as they have posed as ambulance drivers, Red Crescent workers, UN officials and even posed as .....pregnant women.
Newsmwn do not have the god given right to be right in the middle of a firefight, oddly enough amongst the enemy, often acting either wittingly or unwittingly as human shields.
If bullets are being fired at armed terrorists and a newsman is standing behind them or beside them, the chances are they'll get hit.......
Any friggin' idiot knows that!
They know the score..........get in the way during a life and death situation and you take your own life into your hands......
I wonder if the Yanks programmed their bombs not to explode near or on newsmen?
Never the less, my deepest sympathies go out to his families.
They are the real victims when newsmen act irresponsibly even for the sake of issuing a report.
And we are not talking about newsmen who are rounded up after an event and simply taken away and shot, as were the Australians years ago in Indonesia..........
