why coldry is the winning process

Heres a bit of a blurb for all those that are interested.

There is a lot of cynicism floating around during such crucial times.. and why wouldnt there be....this ticker has had more than it's share of under handed hedonistic manipulative types hyping the future, betraying foundation investors, the media, and even themselves during an era when the mkt was super bubbled.

That was the bad ol' greedy days of phase 1 and 2 of esi.

We are late in the 3rd phase of ect with Kos, Adam the board having done their utmost to clean the internal environment which is the engine room for Coldry and Matmor's future global rollout.

There would now seem to be many more phases to come.

It would also be fair to say, that without the tireless and highly productive energies, (given in many cases as gratis) from Phillip capital's Glenn Fozard, ECT, would not be where it is today.

So why coldry and not the scores of other dewatering processes out there?

Anyone new to this part of the h/c forum would probably not be aware of HRL'S lower graded IDGCC process or WEC's gas fired, heat it, compress it prehistoric methods......

This prodigious process for example squeezes out quantities of the catalysts and waxes required for highest calorific and lowest emission values.....and putrefies a valuable by product.....WATER....)

Coldry by contrast is the development of a scientific process which is based upon observations made in brown coal mines centuries ago when it was noted that the wheel compressions created by horse drawn coal carts upon fresh brown coal surfaces made the surface black and hard....similar to bituminous coal.

When it rained on the effected surface, the water ran off the shiny blackened surface.

So why is Coldry the winning process ?


Coldry process can use waste energy from such co-located heavy industries as paper/wood pulp mills,smelters, power stations.

The Coldry process uses much less energy than other dewatering methods ( it is a protected process )

Other processes are exclusively oil coal or gas fired to heat and are thus less efficient in the manufacturing process,,,,and create a less efficient product.

Given 2 tonne of typical lignite with a water content greater than 50% ( valley lignite ball park for example is 55 to 62% water );

For every tonne of around 24Gj Coldry produced, a tonne (1,000 litres ) of distilled water is produced...all of the volatile and catalytic ''stuff'' stays in the product.

Coldry is not heat and squeeze...it's the patented Coldry method...the intellectual property of the Callejes Bros...IP which the Callejes Bros want ECT to secure and vice versa...IP which will ACTUALLY become the property of ECT in this phase.

Other processes will not dewater to anywhere near the level that Coldry produces, as they do not incorporate the natural physical reactions that ARE the coldry process.

Typically for every tonne of brown coal that is heated and squeezed in basic mechanical NON COLDRY methods, 1.33 tonne of heat product is produced along with 760 lt of dark brown waste effluent.

Not only is it more expensive to produce, but as it does not incorporate the fundamental physical processes that are harnessed in the coldry process, and also squeezes out much of the required''trace element catalytic ''stuff'' and waxy volatiles. T

The end product can be typically 30% less efficient and then.... there the huge headache regarding 345 litres/tonne of polluting effluent that must be disposed of.

If it is pumped or allowed to drain into rivers...go figure just how many litres of river water 1 litre of coal juice will pollute.

If it is pumped into tailing dams....more initial and environment expense.

Simply Coldry wins every brown coal to black coal equivalent argument.

The current brown coal drying methods used in lignite fired power stations from a green perspective are criminally wastefull and must be stopped world wide by the Green authorities.

A few of the main Coldry benifits

1.Coldry is the most dewatered globally transportable BCE ever developed ( brown coal is not readily transportable due to spontaneous combustion which is the culmination of the exothermic reaction brought about by the digging up/breaking up rubbing/ exposing to air processes involved in transportation )


2.Coldry is thermally equivilant to Black coal ( but without many of the nasties found in black coal )

3.Coldry is cheapest BCE to produce as it incorporates a calibrated proportion of the exothermic reaction that has been known of for centuries)

4.Coldry has the least water, the most heat energy and the cleanest burn of all BCE products

5.Coldry is a net producer of clean water as its by product.

6.Coldry mitigates green house gas production.

7.Coldry is instantly usable in current lignite power stations
Without modification to boilers, a 10% mix would see them 2020 compliant.

China and Veitnam seem to like it.

Blowed if I know.....lack of media interest in a scheme similar in size and significance to the Snowy Mountain scheme is of concern to me......time will tell.

You would have thought a new industry in recession times would make headlines somewhere.
