    worldtraveler,

statements like this ( re the query on getting a JV partner and that price you quoted) require some sort of real foundation and less emotion. Going by your position on QMN, you have chosen to get out, good. Thats your choice and I respect that. However, the fundamentals - whats in the ground - still remain and thats why a lot of people are where they are, ie; holding on.
With the international shortage of copper and the size of this resource, (no doubt an updated and upgraded JORC will be happening soon) why wouldn't HR secure a JV partner?
However, if the terms of a potential JV were not suitable, why the heck wouldn't QMC undertake to fully risk the operation itself? How can you quantify your statement at .09c if HR is not able to secure a JV partner? I'm prepared to say that there would be company directors salivating and rubbing their hands with glee to have an oportunity to make an offer towards an MOU with a company that has as many tenements as QMC, including White Range, Jessievale, Flamingo, Mt Freda, Morris Creek, Young Australia etc etc etc under their belt.
Your statement would be more plausible if the price you predicted was far, far less.
I really can't see a case for your argument WT. In fact CK Locke & Partners put it in writing, .28c based on White Range alone. How much for the rest of the tenements? I wont put a price on it, 'cause I'm not qualified to, but I know what I'll continue to buy-in at and thats whatever the market price is while I can afford it. (after all, it is so far 335,000t of Cu equivalent - thats over $3billion). I am holding WT, because I'm an investor and not a trader in this company. (I once held CDU and my stop-loss kicked in so I got out and that was that. That company has a long way to go and good luck to all who hold, they have been through hell - I know).
QMN has given me an opportunity to get involved in a company that has so much to offer over a long period. It's only early days yet. Every company has to get settled after it's been rattled and rolled by the knocker's. I've done my initial research and will continue to do more - thats due dilligence, and WT, you are entitled to your opinion and no WT, I'm not a dreamer, I'm a believer. If this company goes belly-up, then I'll only have myself to blame, not the fellow posters on Hotcopper

This is my opinion only and should not be taken into account as 'gospel' for anyone making a decision on buying into or selling out of this stock.
I do agree with you on stop losses - thats a given. They are a very important part of investing/trading.
