There's also an active Geo talking down the Greenland projects on X; likely not liking the spot light being over in Greenland instead of say North America / Canada. But I think this is incidental - just one cog out of many.
NGOs are at work already on other transition metals projects given the EU framework about to announcement next month. Will not be hard for US to provide a better package though given the control in infrastructure.
