Hi NRO, at the bottom there is a grey bar chart, which looks to be the trade volume. There was a spike in volume on the days it traded up, but the upward movement was no where near the proportion of the volume traded. Normally such big volume would be linked to a large player buying and selling. Given investors are fleeing this stock, it's unlikely for an institutional investor to get in - they probably look at the underlying value than trade a stock. Hence the other possibility is the shorters liquidating their shorts, which results in buying back the stock at low prices and giving it back to the poor owners whom they borrowed and sold the stocks from.
